We turned 4!

Paul took me clothes shopping at TJ Maxx in Park City and then we ate at the lovely Swiss restaurant in town, Adolphs.  A lovely evening!  I'm so glad we are married.  

Baby Moses' Baby Blessing

Oh wow.  I can't believe I haven't done a post about this yet.  Oops! I thought I had.  Well, anyhoo.  Moses had a lovely blessing day and didn't even cry when he was blessed.  I was really happy about that.  We had a bunch of neighbors and friends over and it couldn't have been a more perfect day.  Even my dear grandma was there.  He was blessed on Sunday, June 2 in the Center Creek Ward, bye the way.  His Grandma Irene made his outfit.  How darling is it????  I love it!  It has blue piping all around and it's made of pique material.  Precious beyond words.  Well, the way my life goes these days (read: busy) my blog is turning into a picture blog.  Oh well.  I'm tired.  Moses is 10 weeks old now and I haven't slept through the night in 10 weeks.  Ay ay ay.  I'm tired.

Lizzie starts preschool

I sneaked in on her when she was in Circle Time and she was sitting still just like all the other kids!!  She never does this with me alone so this was quite a sight for my eyes.  I was so proud.  Here are some pics below of us playing in buckets outside - ghetto style!  Yeah baby.  I like this girl a lot.  Oh and bye the way, she only cried the first time I left her in preschool.  Now she just waves "bye" and goes and has fun.  That's my girl.  Miss Independent.  Just like me.  I love it!  I'm proud of her.

Moses is 2 months and Lizzie is 26 months

So much to talk about but I am still sleepy.  He's actually 9 weeks old now.  He isn't sleeping through the night, he takes a bunch of annoying 45 minutes naps but he cries less then Lizzie so somehow I am less frazzled but still just as tired.  Plus my dear grandmama is here visiting us so I am muy ocupado.  It is a blessing to have her here though.  She has told me so many beautiful stories of her past and of our family.  I intend to make a fabulous book out of it soon.

Back to Moses - I took him to his 2 month check today.  He did swimmingly!  He is a healthy 13 lbs, 9 oz (74th percentile), he is 23.5 inches tall (65th percentile), and his head is 16 inches (86th percentile).  I puffed with pride when the doc told me he had a nice round head.  He's been doing a lot of tummy time and I think it's paying off.  I guess flat-head syndrome is very common these days, eh-strange.  I'm trying to think what else is new with him.  He is just a dear.  He smiles all the time and is a good boy.

Now to Lizzie - she has started preschool (but that's for another blog)!  She still naps in the afternoon and she eats like a champ.  She is a real delight and says a lot of words.  She's got a little mischevious side and she adores her baby brother.

Baby Moses is one month old!

That went really quickly!  Although I feel sleep deprived, life is good.  I am very happy figuring out this whole stay-at-home mom thing and loving on my baby girl and boy.  What has he done in the last month?  Well...how about his first smile???  Check it out!

That's a smile, right?? I swear he's done it a couple of times.  He is a sweet, gentle soul.  I'm trying to sleep train a bit and it's not going very well but we'll survive somehow.  It is harder to pay attention to two kids and I feel like I need to be split in the middle.  Lizzie is doing very well with it though, for the most part.  She does cry a bit more but she also loves him and kisses on him a bunch.  He already has good neck control and does tummy time like a champ.  He's 11 pounds and 22 inches already.  Here are some more pics.
