On Lizzie

I just had to share these pics.  She is a delight.  I love her sooo much!

Moses is 6 months old!

- He giggles!
-He smiles!
-He eats! - solids, that is
-He weighs 19 lbs 2 oz (78th percentile) and 27.2 inches (71st percentile)
-We love the kid.  What else can I say?  He sits up pretty well and tripods and then eventually rolls over.
-He sleeps less during the day (9-10:30ish nap and a 1-3:30ish nap)
-He "helps" me wake up Lizzie every morning and they just gaze upon each other and grin.  I love it!

I had a good birthday

 So I woke up bright and early on Oct 3 but Paul woke up even earlier than me and made me crepes!  I had to take my grandmama bright and early to the airport and it was a bit stressful because she doesn't speak English and needs a wheelchair at all times but she made it.  Then, I got back home in time to pick up Lizzie from preschool.  Paul gave me a super cute workout shirt, a Lululemon headband, and...a Kindle!  I love my Kindle.  It seems so advanced for someone like me who is a late adapter of technology.  He also wrote me a card on a crown, which picture you can see below.  He ALSO got me cupcake ice cream cakes.  That Paco...he's a nice one all right.  A keeper.  I love him so much!

On witnessing a birth

So a couple of weeks ago, I went to visit my bestie Rachel at the hospital (mid Sept) and the whole time I thought she was having a scheduled C-section.  Turns out she decided to go with a V-Bac and I was there before baby was even born and she asked me to stay for the birth.  What an honor!  I will never forget it.  Little Clary Sage was born at about 9:45 p.m.  She was so cute and cuddly and Rachel did an amazing job.  The miracle of birth is incredible.

Moses eats for the first time

Er, well more like food passed his lips and then came back out.  What a cutie pie. 

Bridal veil falls

It's on the way down Provo Canyon.  The falls are impressive and the mist comes off of the mountains.  We sure loved it!
