Tennis

I can't believe I haven't even shared with you what I have been up to lately which makes me incredibly happy:  Tennis!!  I LOVE it so much!  I play it a lot.  I am part of a league which plays against another team every week and it's like a competition and we get to play against ladies in our community and it's fabulous and it gives me a natural high every time and I win about half the time but I am getting better and Paul is so accommodating to help me out by caring for the kids when I go to my matches every week.

Who knew that so late in the game (hehe) I could get into a sport and be so happy about it.  I'm just on cloud nine when I win a match, especially if it's close.  I've also made some lovely new friends that way and I really like the ladies in our town.  Lovely people.  Then, I've had some surprising wins against people who I heard were really good.  I hope to play it for years to come and my goal is to develop a killer serve, a more powerful return and even better strategy.  I also want to become one of the best players in the valley, so much so that I am on the best team.  I'm probably going to have a to take a break next year for the baby but I am determined to get back out there on the courts by next summer and start taking some lessons when I can.

Thank you dear Lord for this endorphin kick.  It makes me so happy!!
